Lovely apartments. Good Ac. Not very childfriendly. My son, 6 years, got up in extra bed and it broke, look at the pictures, he’s a tiny kid. He got so scared :( and now Helvetia Suites is keeping our deposit 150€. I feel so surprised and sad. They will fix the bed on their own (it’s easy to fix) and charge us 150 €. They have no bookings and tried to say they couldn’t let someone live in the apartment because of the bed. Scam de luxe. We travel a lot and this is the first time we have such a bad experience. Not a very nice area. No reception - so it was a bit of a pickle to get in. Had to give my creditcard number by text message for the deposit :( The cleaning not very good. We found a watch - hope the owner will get it back (attached a picture) and had to to was the glas and cups before we used them.

So bad hotel no cleaning rooms no service and at the night no resption no service tv not working bad choice they just add towels and leave the bathroom as we leave it , my mom clean the bathroom instead of enjoy of serving!

Great place for families to stay

We have just stayed here for the Xmas markets with our 3 yr old son. Perfect set up for families. Quick check in process. Large, spacious apartment. Super clean and quiet. Great location. Less than 5 minutes walk to either the tram or U Bahn. Only negatives were no lift which for us we struggled due heavily pregnant wife and luggage but in a normal scenario wouldn’t have been a problem. Could have done with a bit more crockery/glasses. Fine as we only stayed 1 night but would have been nice to have a few more. Would definitely recommend this place if anyone is looking to stay in Dusseldorf. Just around the corner is a great restaurant called Rosies. Highly recommended

No doors for the bedroom! Housekeeping intrude!

Pros: 1. Decent location 2. Spacious Cons: 1. the "living room/ bedroom" AND the "single bedroom" DOES NOT HAVE DOORS! So no privacy there 2. In the living room, there's only HALF curtain. The living room faces the street, so no privacy there. 3. The kitchen was DIRTY, there was a big lipstick mark on one of the wine glass, and kitchen utensils were still oily 4. On our second day, my girlfriend stayed at the apartment alone and hang the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. The house keeping knock the door loudly, trying to see if anyone was inside, my girlfriend got scared but she knock back to let her know that someone is inside. On our last day, we were all in the kitchen when the house keeping knock again at 9.30AM, we didn't hear the knocking (do not disturb sign still posted outside,) so the housekeeping just let herself in and come into the apartment. WHERE IS THE PRIVACY!! Then she keep telling us to check out when the check out time is 11AM. I wouldnt trust this place if i have valuables with me. The house keeping comes in without your consent even with do not disturb sign outside.

I arrived late in the evening at the main train station, so walked the 15 minutes, which was a bit dodgy that time of day. Once checked in, the location for me was absolutely perfect. It is a 5-minute walk to a great Organic Store, a delicious Italian restaurant & a very pleasant 20-minute walk into town. The one-bedroom suite I got was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The TV connection was quite bad so watching TV in the bedroom was not possible, but the TV in the lounge was fine and there are plenty of electrical sockets around so very useful. Reception isn't open 24/7, but there was self check-in, so the codes I got prior to arrival worked fine. Window to Herzogstrasse was very noisy, but the window opposite, opening into a courtyard, behind lots of different properties was very quiet. No lift, so great exercise to the 3rd floor. If you're inclined to using hotel toiletries, they don;t provide anything nice.
